Hello again everyone! I hope that everyone is doing well since last we met! I'm very happy to announce that it's that time of year again - Soriel Week 2021 is on! Over the last few years, the community has consistently voted for the event to take place at the end of August, so I hope that you all won't mind that I've gone ahead and picked the dates this time. Mark your calendars - Soriel Week 2021 will take place from August 15th, 2021 to August 21st, 2021! Late Week will immediately follow from August 22nd, 2021, to August 28th, 2021! Finally, as of today the prompt list poll is open! Depending on your votes, the two prompts with the most votes will make the list, while the last one will roll over into next year! The poll will be live for one week, starting today, and the week after I will reveal the full prompt list! Please make sure to vote! The link is here! I'll see you all again soon! Hello again! Sorry to come back with the official announcement so late, last week got away from me a bit! But here it is! The prompt list and the dates! Soriel Week will run from August 16th, 2020, to August 22nd, 2020! The majority of responses on the survey said that either date was fine, so I went with the more popular of those two. Hello Soriel fandom! I hope that all of you are safe and well. I'm here to announce that Soriel Week is coming back for 2020! I usually announce the dates in May, and I'd like to apologize for taking so long to confirm that the event is on again this year. I live in the United States, and because of the general situation over the last several weeks it felt inappropriate to discuss a fandom event. However, with August not that far away, I don't want to leave anyone with too little time to prepare. So alongside the usual poll, I'll be releasing some of the prompts early! But before we get into the prompts for this year, I have a quick announcement: Black lives matter and trans rights are human rights. If either of those statements is "controversial" to you, you know where the door is. 🙂Soriel Week will always be a fun and light fandom event, but as the main moderator I feel the need to make it clear that discrimination of any kind is not welcome here, nor are bad faith "free speech"
